- An abundant and well trained workforce offering diversifies skills (more than102 000 civil servants and 500 000 workers in the private sector holding diplomas from general and technical education).
- Modern and suitable infrastructures, among which the Abidjan Port Authority (ranked 2nd in Africa), 68 000 km of road (one of the best in Africa), and an outstanding electricity, water providing, and telecommunication network.

- Special Privileges contained in:
- The Investment Code, adopted in 1995, applied both to domestic and foreign investors and offers two regimes (the investment declaration regime and the investment approval regime).
- The 1995 Mining Code applies to all the mineral substances excluding gas and petroleum.
- The 1996 Petroleum Code, offers important advantages to petroleum companies wanting to operate in this sector in Côte d’Ivoire both on the basis of concession and production sharing contracts.
- The regime of the free zone for Information and Communication Technologies and Biotechnology adopted in 2004, grants important tax and customs exemptions to the promotion and concessionary company as well as to the industrial companies.
